…and my Favorite Bags

-I started sewing and making small bags 7 years ago and I am now entering my 3rd year with a web based storefront and this October will start my 3rd year selling at the local Craft Fairs here in Tucson, Az.
I never started out with a business goal in mind. It was all about making small clutch bags and special orders for friends which kept me busy especially during Covid. However, like everything else in my life, once I mastered small clutch bags, I started looking for other patterns to challenge myself. Thankfully the internet became my sewing encyclopedia. As I watched more videos, I started trying out new bag patterns. This led. me down the path of credit cards slots, slip pockets and internal zipper pockets. I challenged myself with different fabrics denim, faux leather, vinyl, faux suede, waterproof canvas and now lux nylon.
Every year brings new and exciting patterns and challenges. I hope you find something you like or a bag pattern you would like to customize and make it truly your “favorite bag.”
